Orlando: the land of theme parks, thrill rides and experiences that last a lifetime. A perfect place to take our exclusive, invitation-only Executive Track on the road to search for evidence of the experience economy at the height of its powers.

For the first time ever, we will host a “Retail Innovation Safari” and explore the Orlando area as we seek to expand our imaginations and open our minds to new ways to bring customers back to the store – and to keep them coming back.

The Executive Track takes place on Wednesday, May 1, as part of Engage 2019 for what promises to be a day of education, insight and inspiration.


You and your fellow retail executives will board a luxury coach at the conference hotel. From there we will be led by five experience experts and retail thought leaders. Your guides have carefully designed this invitation-only workshop to expose you to new ideas, powerful experiences and exciting possibilities for the future of retail shopping:

  • We will visit X Studios, a creative digital agency based in Orlando that specializes in integrated experiences for retail, theme parks, arenas and museums. While there, we will go behind the scenes to see how some of Orlando’s most immersive experiences are created, and we will discuss how these high-tech and high-impact experiences can translate to your stores.
  • We will explore Disney Springs, one of the most experience-centric malls in the US, to experience the power of a brand promise delivered through the convergence of physical and digital strategies.
  • And finally, we will end our safari with an immersive “hyper reality” experience that offers a glimpse into what digital shopping could look (and feel) like in the not too distant future.

By designing an exclusive and inspirational experience for you, we believe it will help you guide your company as it invests in experiences for your customers. Along the route we will discuss what inspired you, what excited you and together we will brainstorm ways that we can translate our safari experiences into takeaway ideas for your business.
