What is Aptos Engage?
Aptos Engage is an annual conference for users of Aptos retail solutions and other members of the Aptos ecosystem. It brings our retail clients together with our executives, account managers, solution representatives and technology partners, as well as industry analysts and invited guests, for three days of educational sessions, discussions, presentations and networking focused on Aptos solutions, retail issues and industry best practices.
When and where will Engage 2017 be held?
Aptos Engage will be held Monday, Monday May 1 – Thursday May 4, 2017 at The Diplomat Beach Resort. It is located at 3555 South Ocean Drive, Hollywood, Florida 33019 USA, approximately 20 minutes southeast of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and 40 minutes northeast of Miami International Airport.
Who should attend Engage?
Aptos Engage is designed primarily for users of Aptos solutions seeking to extend the value of their investments and enhance their retail business performance. Conference sessions and opportunities are suited to both technical and business professionals. C-level retail executives are encouraged to register for our designated Executive Track on Tuesday, May 2.
Aptos solutions and technology partners wishing to attend should contact Danny Rosenoff, VP Alliances, or Alex Achour, Director of Hardware Sales and Alliances. How do I register?
Is there a registration fee?
Yes. The fee is $1,245 US until March 17th and $1,445 thereafter. The fee includes full admission to Engage and all its sessions and events, including daily meals, cocktail receptions, and featured entertainment.
Are discounts available?
Yes. In addition to the early bird registration discount of $200 until March 17, discounts are offered for:
- Panel speakers, who save $350
- Solo session leaders, for whom the full fee is waived
- Every fifth person from the same company (i.e. in addition to four paid registrants), for whom the full fee is waived.
How can I pay?
How do I reserve accommodations?
Aptos has reserved a block of rooms at The Diplomat at the Engage conference rate of $249 per night (plus applicable taxes) until April 10. Book your room here. These superior accommodations feature ample lounge and work spaces plus partial views of the ocean or intra-coastal waterway.
Note: Engage guaranteed-rate rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis only until Monday April 10. Bookings made after that date are subject to general availability and rates.
Are you accepting speaker applications?
Yes. Engage is designed to enable the exchange of information and best practices among Aptos retailers and other members of our community. As such, we encourage retailers to participate in panel discussions or to lead individual sessions, and we offer registration discounts registration discounts to those who do.
Are sponsorships or exhibit spaces available?
Yes. Aptos invites our solution and technology partners to participate in our Solutions Zone. This designated area of the conference enables retail solution and service providers to display and discuss their offerings in a premium location with optimal access to Engage attendees. A wide range of other promotional opportunities are available, commensurate with the sponsor’s investment.
Can I bring a guest or my spouse to Engage?
Yes: a guest pass is available for purchase. You can register your guest when you register for Engage or on-site at the conference.
The guest pass includes entrance to all meal functions and evening events. However, it does not allow your guest to attend the conference sessions. Guests must be 21 years of age to attend events where alcohol is served.
What is the dress code for the conference?
The attire for Engage is business casual. Meeting spaces may be cool, so please bring a jacket or a sweater for your comfort.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else in my company in the event that I cannot attend?
Yes. Substitutions can be made in writing to Karen Robson with the names of both the original and substitute registrant and/or guest.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations made before April 14 are subject to a $150 fee per registrant. Cancellation requests received after April 14, 2017 are non-refundable. All cancellations must be made in writing, addressed to Aptos Engage 2017 – CANCELLATION, then faxed to 514-426-0824 or emailed to Karen Robson at email@example.com.
